Winnie Waldron

Award-winning producer of music for video games, television, and film.
 
image Winnie Waldron is a multiple award-winning music producer for television, film, radio and video games. Her work as a music producer for the smash-hit Sackboy: A Big Adventure video game was nominated for a BAFTA Award. In addition, the music she produced for the Jurassic World Primal Ops video game was nominated for a Society of Composers & Lyricists Award, and won a Global Music Award.

Waldron launched her career as a music producer by co-founding Generations Productions LLC – the audio production company responsible for two popular series on National Public Radio.  Serving as music producer, script editor, actress and on-air host, Waldron created the Tales from the Other Side radio drama series on National Public Radio Playhouse. She then went on to serve for over ten years as co-producer, script editor and on-air host for the critically acclaimed NPR series Radio Tales. In this capacity, she produced over a hundred National Public Radio programs.

For her work on this series, Waldron was thrice honored with the prestigious GRACIE Award for outstanding achievement from the Alliance for Women in Media. She has also been recognized by the International Radio Festivals "World's Best Work" Awards, the NFCB Golden Reel Awards and the Audio Publishers Association Awards.

Expanding the scope of her production company, Waldron turned her attention to interactive media with music production for her first video game project – the blockbuster action adventure God of War.  For her music production work on God of War, Waldron received six Game Audio Network Guild Awards and the prestigious Interactive Achievement Award from the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences.

Since then, Waldron has built up a lengthy resume of video game credits that include titles in such triple-A game franchises as Lineage, LittleBigPlanet, The Sims, Total War, and Assassin’s Creed. Other blockbuster franchises in her resume include Jurassic Park, DC Comics, Shrek and The Da Vinci Code.  Her work has garnered many awards.  As music producer for the video game Spore Hero (a continuation of the blockbuster Spore franchise), her work was recognized by the International Film Music Critics Association as an IFMCA Award finalist.  The music she produced for the Legend of the Guardians video game won a Hollywood Music in Media Award.

In addition to her work in the video game industry, Waldron also produces music for many television and film projects.  Some of her recent credits include Our Cartoon President for Showtime, Impractical Jokers on TBS, and the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball on the CW.  Waldron currently serves as the music producer responsible for all projects undertaken by Generations Productions LLC.
